Vereda do Fanal takes you through the heart of the Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its an amazing place the Fanal forest and walking through incredible scenery on this long ridge, for approx. 10 kilometers. On one side you have "Ribeira da Janela valley” and on the other the "Chão da Ribeira valley”.
The Fanal forest is known for its unstructured trees, its mystical silhouettes, which inspire beautiful photos with or without fog.
